From October 4 to 6, ‘Fruit Attraction‘ took place at Ifema, one of the largest international fairs in the fruit and vegetable sector held in our country and which was attended by FHF. During these days different activities took place such as the traditional showcooking ‘Factoría Chef’, a unique stage for promoting the producers of the garden before the international channel to underline the quality and excellence of these foods, as well as the infinite possibilities of consumption that they offer within the Horeca channel.
On this occasion, the space hosted different workshops made with multiple products such as mushrooms, avocado, leeks, broccoli, artichokes… allowing attendees to learn about the multitude of gastronomic possibilities offered by the fruit and vegetable products offered by the different companies participating in the fair.

Within the programming of ‘Factoría Chef’, a workshop organized by FHF was included with the Tudela artichokes as the protagonists. The event was presented by Juan Carlos Fernández, chef at Txoko de Juan Carlos, nutritionist and chef at Reyno Gourmet, and our colleague Ana Berdonces who held an exhibition peeled Artichoke from Tudela and where all kinds of curiosities were discussed and told about this vegetable that is so representative of the quality of the Navarran orchard.
Attendees were able to learn first-hand tricks for handling, peeling and chopping this vegetable, demonstrating the simplicity of its preparation for use in countless delicious dishes and recipes.
