After a year of suspension due to the health crisis, the XXVII Vegetable Festivities have been celebrated with a certain normality by adapting the programming of this year’s events to the new sanitary restrictions. Among some of those events that could not be missed in this edition are the appointment of the Ladies and Knights of Honor of the Order of the Racket, the delivery of honors and the Exaltation of Vegetables award.

This year our CEO, Diego Orta, has received the Exaltation of Vegetables 2021 award, an award with which the organization wanted to thank our contribution and involvement in these parties throughout all these years through the donation of products and our participation in different events.

The event took place in the plenary hall of the Tudela City Council with the presence of the organizers of the Orden del Volatín, different councilors of the current municipal corporation and the mayor of Tudela, as well as the participation of several Gastronomic Brotherhoods from all over Spain to through its streaming transmission.

From here we want to thank the Order of the Volatín for this recognition of our work with these important days that have become such an outstanding event for the river capital, and that thanks to the tireless work of this entity, they have managed to position this region as a of the regions most revered for its vegetables in our country.

FHF and its participation in the XXVII Vegetable Festival

During this year we have wanted to collaborate in a special way with these conferences: on the one hand, with the traditional donation of our White Artichoke Baskets from Tudela to all the Brotherhood and Knights and Maids of Honor, as well as our participation in various events aimed especially at the little ones.

During these days, children from 1st to 4th grade of primary school in Tudela have been able to participate in the ‘Brocolín y la Pandi’ workshop: an activity in which this fun gang comes to life and invites children to learn more about fruits and vegetables through games and different activities, in order to encourage their consumption from an early age. In addition, during this workshop, the children were encouraged to participate in various contests with the elaboration of different recipes with broccoli as the main ingredient.
